Welcome to the Tutoring and Test Prep Division of Marks Education! We are conveniently located in downtown Bethesda at 4833 Rugby Avenue, Suite 300. Marks Education offers tutoring services for almost all independent and parochial school, college and graduate school standardized tests, for high school academic subjects, and for tailored work on study skills. Our tutors are Nitin Sawhney (nitin@markseducation.com), who directs the Tutoring Division, Daniel Bloss (dbloss@markseducation.com), Jill Salisbury (jsalisbury@markseducation.com), Nisha Sardella (nsardella@markseducation.com) and Phillip Chang (pchang@markseducation.com). Each tutor takes the SAT, ACT, and other standardized tests at least once a year to monitor carefully the changing trends in the tests they tutor. Our students in the class of 2011 saw an average score increase of 320 points from their Sophomore year PSAT to their final SAT. Students who did not take the Sophomore PSAT improved 210 points from their Junior year PSAT or SAT to their final SAT. Our ACT students' scores increased by on average 6.5 ACT points (approximately 390 points on the SAT). For more information about these scores and for our GRE, GMAT, and LSAT results, please see our results page. Marks Education offers custom designed materials for test preparation, including:
We proctor standardized tests every Sunday and by appointment. All practice tests are free for clients. We tutor for the following tests and academic subjects:
